GOST Certification

15.03.13

In Russia, the GOST Certificate is currently the only permitted
proof of quality (also known as the GOST-R). GOST is not only
a certificate required for the system, but for the entire range,
which a company produces. In order to obtain this certificate,
an extensive assessment of the products is required. This
inspection is only valid if it has been carried out by the accredited
test institutions responsible for this.

We have received licences for our pressure relief valves, transfer
pumps and fuel pumps, as well as for our high pressure gear
pumps.

KRACHT obtains status as "known consignor"

14.12.12

On 25 March 2013, new safety requirements of the European Union come into effect for air freight (Decrees EC 300/2008 and EC 185/2010) which entail far reaching changes for air freight services. The background is the consideration that secure supply chains prevent threats in the air space and exclude the transport of non-safe and hazardous goods.

Any company that wants to send air freight after this date will have to reckon with additional security controls at airports unless it has the corresponding certification. That can lead to delays in the handling of often-critical air freight shipments, which will cause significant additional costs.

In Germany, the Federal Office of Civil Aviation (German abbreviation LBA) is implementing these provisions in the form of a certification as a "known consignor". On Tuesday, 11 December, Kracht was certified by the Federal Office of Civil Aviation (LBA) and has now gained the status of "known consignor".

That means that Kracht has developed and integrated a security concept in accordance with the legal stipulations. It reliably prevents unauthorised persons from gaining access to the shipments during the preparation phase.

The appointment and training of the responsible personnel and all other persons who have access to air freight involves structural changes. The undertaken changes serve the enhancement of the company premises for air freight. That is the only way to guarantee the maintenance of the security requirements along the entire transportation chain.

KRACHT GmbH obtains the AEO certificate

23.01.12

We have been certified as an "Authorised Economic Operator" since 20 January 2012.

Authorised economic operators are especially reliable and trustworthy partners in international goods management. They handle customs formalities more efficiently so time consuming reviews can be waived during customs clearance.

The goal of the AEO certification is to effectively secure the international supply chain from the manufacturer of the goods right through to the end consumer.  To acquire the certificate, comprehensive conditions have to be met which include, for example, taking applicable statutory provisions and safety regulations, reliability and solvency into account.

The status of "Authorised Economic Operator" stands for high quality and safety standards along with a transparent and trustworthy business culture.
